This was the first work I did this fall with my new color palette, I was going to just fix a watercolor I didn't like and ended up painting over the entire work. It no longer exists. Original done aon 22x30 watercolor paper with deckled edges. Acrylic. $1100.00 original. Giclee print, 22x30 on paper, $350.00.

When I began painting this work I had no intention of making mountains. These just emerged as I bagan working with the colors and the lines and forms that were appearing. Very exciting for me.

When I began to paint this picture the green splash was over powering so I painted it out , but it kept on wanting to come back - it was hard for me to leave the color in, it felt uncomfortable but it works and is a great compliment for the red.
