I have a red scooter named Rubie. I take her for rydes in the spring, summer and fall. I have painted pictures of my rydes and I call this series Rubies Ryder Series. They are abstract minimalism. Watercolors, watercolor washes, gestural lines done with colored pencils, watercolor paints, india ink and graphite pencil, greens, teals, blues, yellows, magentas, umbers, greys, blacks and whites. Done on rough watercolor paper with deckled edges. Unframed.
